The ancient TD head office got a major retrofit and an addition in the early 2000′, a re-adaptive use of an historical building
A sky-scraper was added in the backyard of this building.
To establish the new structure and stabilize the old structure
the historic building was open every 20 feet for 5 feet ” floor to ceiling” to allow for a new structure and a temporary support to be installed.
Historic ornamentations and plaster were remove at all these locations.
The historic ceiling were hidden by a dropped ceiling and once exposed they showed extensive water damages and decades of neglect.
We are to restore all the holdings, coffers, domes etc to accommodate a luxury hotel condo.
